Luke Joyce is a terrible broker. He scheduled a viewing, sent me a Google Calendar invite, and then didn’t show up. I messaged and called him multiple times — no response. Six hours later, he finally replies saying he “didn’t see” the meeting in his calendar that he scheduled. This kind of behaviour is completely unprofessional and a huge waste of people’s time. Then he has the nerve to ask to reschedule like nothing happened. Brokers like this are exactly why renters have trust issues. If you can’t manage basic communication or respect people’s time, you shouldn’t be in this business.

Luke Joyce is just a phenomenal real estate agent. He’s always on time, including in responding to my many questions by email and text. He was honest about the pros and cons of the apartment that he was showing me. He had answers ready about all aspects of the building, and ready recommendations for things to do in the neighborhood. He even went back to the apartment — on later dates when I couldn’t make it — to measure the lengths of the walls for me, to help me see if my furniture would fit nicely! Just all around extremely helpful and easygoing and much better than most other people you’ll work with in an apartment hunt in NYC…

Highly recommend working with Annie Wallace! She found my dream apartment for me, and worked hard to find me great apartments to tour, even ones with no broker fee for me (where the landlord paid her rather than the tenants paying a broker fee)! She was so great to work with and I really enjoyed touring with her! Annie also went above and beyond to help us get this apartment and was super helpful whenever we had questions or needed help with the application and move in process!
