My journey with GAMLS Real Estate School began with a piece of advice I’ll never forget.
 A former agent-turned-broker told me about “The Formula” that helped him pass the GAMLS course, exam, cram course, and state exam. His secret? Take the in-person daytime class with Bob White and the late Joe Pennington. He swore they were the best. He was 1,001% correct. Bob White’s teaching style was direct and no-nonsense, yet sprinkled with dry humor that made the material more approachable. At first, I wondered if his firm approach might feel intimidating. Instead, I found it was exactly what I needed—not only to pass Bob’s class, but to pass the state exam on my first try. Bob didn’t just teach real estate facts—he taught us how to study for success. That difference was priceless. Most instructors can deliver content; few can prepare you to excel under pressure. Bob’s method was born from years of experience and a genuine desire to see his students not only pass, but build a foundation for a lasting career. Fifteen years later, after maintaining my license and building my career, I went back to thank Bob personally. On my very first day in class, he told us that more than 75% of new agents would leave the industry. I quietly promised myself I wouldn’t be one of them—and I didn’t want to let Bob or Joe down. Bob’s influence stayed with me as I prepared for and passed both real estate broker’s exams on the first try.
