Coldwell Banker Realty – Sandy Springs

An agent from Coldwell Banker Sandy Springs showed my property (a 1200 square foot condo and my personal home), and when I returned 20 minutes after the showing, I was horrified and left in tears by the state it was left in and what had occurred on the agents watch, while I was gone. The list is quite extensive but the highlights include many drawers in my bedroom and closet pulled open, personal items from my nightstand drawer that were in a zippered pouch were moved, unzipped, and placed on display in my closet. Q-tips taken from my bathroom drawers and used to clean out someone’s ears, then placed on a stack of clean towels in my closet covered in a strangers ear wax. Expensive jewelry kept in boxes inside of a bag tucked away on a very top shelf gone through, opened and left on display on a different shelf. Master bathroom toilet filled with a mound of toilet paper and clogged. Furniture moved. No one made any effort to cover their tracks, it was as if they wanted me to know they had seen my personal items and valuables. The negligence of this agent (who I’ve chosen not to name) is truly appalling. A simple glance in any direction by this agent before departing would have clued him in to what his client had been doing in my home. As a young single female homeowner, I was mortified and humiliated, and the extreme level of violation I feel from this experience is hard to express. I’m very concerned with who this brokerage chooses to do business with and allows into people’s homes, and the lack of attention paid by the very experienced agent that showed my home. The agent offered no apology and acted clueless when contacted by my agent. The brokerage did offer an apology but defended their agent.
