UPDATE: On 6 Oct, my Wife and I moved into a home managed by Aramis that somehow fell through the cracks. Following my initial review, the owner of Aramis (Patrick) reached out to me directly to figure out what happened. Minutes later, we were on a video call so I could walk him through the specifics of the house and what issues should have been addressed prior to us moving in. By the time I hung up with Patrick, he had already started researching replacement appliances, placed work orders to have everything corrected, and promised to be in touch as everything was rectified. Rather than focus on how the issues were missed, this review is focused on the ownership Patrick took upon learning about the issues. He immediately convened a meeting with his company to figure out what happened and began taking steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again. By taking ownership of the situation, showing pride in his company, and working to make everything right as quickly as he could…Patrick demonstrated his desire to have his company excel. With an involved owner who acknowledges mistakes and seeks to improve processes, the company has unlimited potential. I respect work ethic and accountability like his. Even if other issues arise for other customers in the future, as long as you can calmly detail the issues at hand and communicate them…Patrick and his company will resolve them as quickly as possible.

Here is the deal. I will try to keep this all factual and based on experience. I will keep my opinions out of this as best I can. If you find that you absolutely have to rent with Aramis, although I highly recommend that you do not, make sure that you email them with every issue you find/have with the property. Every scratch, every hole in the wall, every broken appliance, light fixture, window etc. If it does not look and work absolutely brand new, email them with pictures/proof. Do not attempt to fix anything yourself, including holes in wall or missing trim from previous tenants. Make sure they fix it. Report EVERYTHING. Every scratch, ding, hole, broken flooring, missing screws/outlet covers etc. Or you will lose your security deposit. They do not care if you took great care of the place, they only care about the fine print and if they can get more money out of you. Don’t hire a professional move out cleaning crew. They are still going to charge you a cleaning fee. Finally, they also do not consider a second story window falling open and unable to remain closed a safety issue (even though you have a toddler that can scale furniture). Side note, they do not inspect the home before you move in, our AC was not working and toilets were clogging, disposal was broken, doors wouldn’t close, dryer vents had not been cleaned in years (major fire hazard), I could go on. They made it clear from the start that the tenant is not priority. I’m guessing from the reviews that their vendors & homeowners are priority. This needs to change. I would not rent my house with Aramis as a previous homeowner. My opinion is that if the tenant is not happy, they will not take care of my property. I do not recommend Aramis Realty. I would say if I could give 0 stars, I would, however, their maintenance staff are pretty friendly for the most part so there’s the one star.

My experience as an out-of-state homeowner has been excellent! Aramis Realty’s large and dedicated staff made onboarding, managing renovations, and working with prospective tenants smooth and efficient. Compared to my experiences with other real estate management companies, what truly stands out is the professionalism and reliability of their management team.
